33. It shouldnt matter if you like the band or not, what maxim did was wrong. I could make an educated guess that a future britney spears album would suck and I most likely would be right, but it would still be messed up. I like maxim and have a subscription and I can tell you I wont renew when its time.

36. Attn, Chris Robinson & The Black Crowes: Sue maxim magazine! You have an easy libel case here. A review, by it's very nature, is supposed to be unbiased & disinterested. It's obvious they're pushing an agenda, and passing it off as a "review". Given that they've never heard the album, this makes them out to be liars. Sue the hell out of them, and force them to not only pay you lots of money, but also issue a public apology that is picked up by all the news services. Use them & their stupidity (and shame at being so unethical) to sell more albums!

38. Recently saw the Black Crows in concert - believe me, their music was incredible. What a total rip-off by Maxim. Never bought the mag, never will. Look forward to the new BC cd.

39. Having seen the Black Crowes perform 20 years ago, I can say they are what they are. They are a rock&roll bar band. They were trendy for awhile, not their fault. Any musician likes to be famous and make money. They put on a great show and are great musicians, Chris Robinson's solo albums are real gems. They have never fit the mold. Maxim magazine, on the other hand has gone from being a decent men's fashion and lifestyle mag to a mindless fratboy rag. They extol all that is wrong with the "American Culture". This country used to set the trends, now we wait for others to tell us what's cool. "When everyone's cool, No one is"

41. To Loki: your comments are ignorant Just because you don't appreciate or understand something is not grounds for name calling. Many famous people have lived in trailers. FYI, The Crowes came out in the 90's. Probably when you were still in diapers. Just because you are one of those who fall for the trends doesn't give you cause for comments. I'm sure you would be all upset if someone refered to Briteny as "trailer trash" even if she is.
