Let's put this in laymen terms, rappers came on around 84 or 85 and they were a joke or a gimmick, but as time went by they strong armed their way in the music business not with talent with force. Most artist at that time could sing or play an instrument. Just look at how times have changed, back then you told a woman she meant everything to you, these day by rappers standards they are ho's and sluts. I guess this is progress to the rappers, but not to normal thinking people. Most rappers are either on drugs, dead and in prison or going to prison. Don't worry they take care of the problem for us by either killing each other or going to prison!!!

52. It's a sad, sad, messed up world when people profess love for someone slinging that much firepower on the streets. I bet these same people wouldn't be so happy if a fire fight broke out in front of their house or in a club where they are hanging out at. All I can say is collateral damage to innocent bystanders. I can honestly understand the real need for protection ( to a degree), but this is what people fight wars with and use for 'nice things', like robbing banks ( and no, I'm not calling him a bank robber, just an incredible dangerous fool to be anywhere down range of). If he's found guilty, as he probably will be, I hope they throw the book at him. Too bad, because the guy had it made and put out some pretty good music for that genre, but it looks like he threw it all away now. And don't call me a hater, because I was listening to rap and hip hip when Easy E was just getting started -"ho you wanna hit ya gotta get your knees dirty!". Like or hate his music, I still think he deserves to get the book thrown at him if he's guilty and so does ANYONE else pulling this kinda of stupidity out of their ass!

i think i got the gist of your post.. you are basically saying you did the same thing.. TI needs to get real people around him and not arse kissers.. you've paid the price and you do not wish it upon anyone else.

a little hard to read, but, a good post otherwise... those that make it in music or whatever, really need people around them, that are going to make sure they do not break the laws and get in trouble in various ways.. so they can enjoy the rewards of making it to the top of whatever it was.

if they make it and then do something stupid... well they should pay the price! it's really simple tho.. a felon isn't allowed weapons like that, he broke the law and now he's screwed, and from the reports this wasn't the first time he got in trouble for weapons..
